Calcutta Chamber of Commerce

Ladies Forum

The Calcutta Chamber of Commerce, set up way back in 1830, is the oldest business body in Asia. During the 193 years of its passage, the Chamber has largely contributed to the growth and development of trade, commerce and industry in this region of the country.

The Chamber has a ladies wing styled as "Ladies Business Forum (LBF) "where members are industrialists, professionals, exporters, educationists and the like from all over the Eastern Region". We have reconstituted the Forum under the banner "Calcutta Chamber of Commerce Ladies Forum" (CCCLF) and started its activities, keeping with its set out objectives.

The main object of the Forum is to promote entrepreneurship and excellence in different fields of endeavour amongst women. The Forum also acts as a catalyst for social and economic advancement of women. These objectives are achieved by the Forum holding various seminars, programs and interaction with achievers from different works of life.
